Forging meaningful experiences.

I am driven by the desire to empower brands that empower people. This core passion led to my role as lead creative for Metrolink, a commuter rail system, actively shaping the future of mobility in Southern California. My involvement with this legacy brand started with the development of a robust set of guidelines and interface redesign, post the rebrand. The collaborative integration of the new look and feel spanned across internal teams as well as partner agencies. What followed, was the ultimate development of a multi-year brand awareness effort to introduce the new brand. Through campaign guidelines, photoshoots and asset development we expressed the true values and mission via this deeply resonant campaign, ignited connection to riders, awakened brand recognition, all while ensuring cohesion and consistency across the brand universe.

Why it matters. Similar to 54 Thrones, seeking to celebrate and elevate African beauty through authentic representation, my work with Metrolink emphasized aligning brand vision with meaningful engagement. I developed brand guidelines, redesigned interfaces, and spearheaded multi-year campaigns to foster a consistent, cohesive experience that resonates with the audience. This experience demonstrates my ability to create impactful campaigns that build brand recognition and forge authentic connections—qualities I’m excited to bring to 54 Thrones in showcasing the beauty and heritage of African wellness on a global stage.

Reshaping an industry.

As a brand who is revolutionizing the textile industry, I was inspired by Coyuchi and their innovative initiatives. I came in as creative lead to expand their visual identity and cultivate an impactful experience for the Investor Campaign with executions across digital channels including web, video, social media, digital ads and email.

Why it matters. Working with Coyuchi, a brand dedicated to sustainable practices and innovation in the textile industry, allowed me to expand their visual identity across various digital platforms. This role aligns closely with 54 Thrones' mission to redefine beauty standards through authentic, purpose-driven storytelling. I’m excited to bring a similarly holistic approach to 54 Thrones, elevating its cultural stories and amplifying its presence across digital channels to resonate with a global audience.

Taking care of the future.

VCA had been the same brand for over 30 years. It had evolved internally but the brand expression didn’t evolve with it or the world around it. I worked in partnership with strategy and creative teams to direct and execute across multiple brand channels in order to deepen and expand the new mark into a cohesive brand expression. This intricate and long-term collaboration included development of a robust set of guidelines, illustration playbook, environmental graphics to support signage and wayfinding systems, video and motion graphics direction, as well as collateral and experiential design.

Why it matters. My work with VCA involved redefining a legacy brand to ensure its expression evolved alongside the company and its audience—an approach that resonates with 54 Thrones’ mission to authentically represent African beauty and wellness. By creating comprehensive brand guidelines, directing experiential design, and unifying the brand across multiple channels, I ensured VCA’s identity remained cohesive and impactful. This experience has equipped me with the skills to craft and manage a culturally rich brand expression for 54 Thrones, developing visual narratives that are both meaningful and true to the brand’s core values.
